Hope this email finds you all well and good! We all doing great.
It has been an amazing year with lots of fun and accomplishments with family and friends. I was able to spend good quality time by travelling little more with kids after getting out of the GH Retail business. Our “Om Realty Group” brokerage has grown and now have 5 active agents under us and closed almost 15 Million worth of properties this year. We going to continue to expand and recruit more like minded agents next year.
One other great news, Aruna(my wife) has become Mortgage Loan Originator. She can now help people to get home loans easy and faster. Om Realty Group will be one stop shop for anyone who wants to get a new home, we can help from start to finish. We are also slowly getting into commercial arena and plan to concentrate little bit more next year.
Quick Recap for Year 2017
We were able to raise almost $3500 last year with continued support from all the friends and families. Big shout out to my friend “Sabari and family” for his huge $1000 contribution boosting our fundraiser last year. That helped to make it the best year so far in our 13 year history. With those funds, we continue to support 20 kids in our pool plus 3 kids from our past endowment deposits. We also added few more kids in our pool and waiting to get updates from Sevalaya. Totally, 24 kids education was sponsored last year. We have added one more kid in our fixed endowment making it 4 total. Currently, we have total 4 fixed deposit endowments and eventually get to having 10 endowments to support 10 kids permanently.
This year Campaign
As some of you know, delta districts of Tamilnadu was devastated by Kaja Cyclone few months ago and many of you might have lend hands by donating for that cause. Thank you!! I hope you all still have little bit left in your piggy bank to donate little bit more. Please take care of our yearly commitment to support our kids education. If you are our part of our donors family, you all know it’s time of the year again to come together to support and I hope you will all continue with your donation. First timers, I strongly urge to check about our cause and organization and donate to be part of our sponsors community.
We will continue to support Sevalaya, active non-profit organization in Tamilnadu, India which not only educates hundreds of local village kids and orphans, also guides them to stand in their feet by placing them in qualified professions and help them start a new life by arranging weddings with a right partner. Starting last year, Sevalaya officially recognized as non-profit organization and IRS has approved 501(c)3 designation allowing tax deductions for all donations to the organization. That help us to donate in dollar easily via many avenues. I already started fundraiser campaign during Giving Tuesday in Facebook.
